A Wish for You
"May your smiles
be as broad

Your laughs

The Door Theory
"
My philosophy on life’s opportunities is based on the
familiar theory that Opportunity Knocks. I would not go so far
as to suggest you only have one chance at opportunity, but that
you have many opportunities through out your lifetime that are
timely and not open for long. These same opportunities may be
presented to more than one person across the world. Whoever
grabs first, wins.
Think about the inventions that have changed the course of
everyday life. Inventors often describe their initial ideas
as coming to them in a dream or while pursuing other ideas.
Ideas are not always a stimulus for action. It makes sense
then for an idea to be harnessed by the individual who makes
the decision to step forward, through the door that has been
opened for them. I myself have felt this gift of an idea come
to me. In one such instance, I felt the idea would be better spent
on someone who already had a background more suitable for
the growth and development of the idea. This personal example
relates to the digital printing of books on demand
at large international bookstores. I know this is a multi-million
dollar (pounds, etc.) idea. I also know, as I knew several
years ago when the idea came to me, someone in a better position
to follow this dream would make this happen and make a lot
of money in the process. I recognized the open door, but chose
not to enter.
The Door Theory is a visualization of life’s opportunities
presented as distinct choices to change direction and to recognize
inspiration.
Accepting the Door Theory affected me. The realization that
I am able to recognize open doors and choose to act is and
was inspirational."

In My Next Life
"In my next life I'm going to be a morning person, because
morning people rule the world. By the time people like me wake
up, the rules are already set in stone."
